31 May 2021 – Ukrainian model arrested along with 15 accused who were having a rave party in Noida Sector-39.
18 September 2022 – Three girl students arrested with drugs worth Rs 29 lakh near the college in Knowledge Park area.
14 May 2022 – Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested two accused along with cocaine worth Rs 2 crore from Greno.
16 May 2023 – MDMA worth Rs 300 crore recovered from a house in Theta-2 sector, nine Nigerians arrested.
23 May 2023 – 150 kg drugs recovered from Mitra Society house, three Nigerians arrested.
Snakes have already been caught in the district
Animal lover Kaveri Rana said that two years ago a large number of double snakes had been caught in the district. But the use of snake venom in rave parties has been revealed for the first time in the district. He told that even touching snake venom is dangerous.
If there is a minor cut or injury on the hand, snake venom can prove fatal. People who are addicted to drugs and people use such drugs to increase excitement in rave parties. Like some other drugs, snake venom has also been claimed to increase arousal, but there is no confirmation of this.
Letters written to central agencies including NCB, team formed
Letters have been written to central agencies like NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau), Wildlife Crime Control Bureau in this matter. This matter can also be investigated at the central level. A team has been formed for investigation under the chairmanship of a senior officer.
