Friends, Romans, dress lovers, hear me out: It’s Met Gala Monday, which means it’s time to don your trendiest sweatshirts and take a hard look at the luxurious, highend outfits made by Hollywood’s brightest stars. The Metropolitan Museum is hosting another fashion event, this time with the (somewhat controversial) theme “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.” Karl died in 2019, and his heir cat Choupette declined to attend tonight’s ceremony, but many celebrities attended tonight to honor Karl.
This year’s headliners include Penelope Cruz, Michaela Kerr, Roger Federer, Dua Lipa and, of course, Anna Wintour; Stars such as Kim Kardashian are also expected to join this list.
