Plans are underway to replace the existing Secunderabad-Pune Shatabdi Superfast Express with the advanced. While the Shatabdi currently takes 8.25 hours for this journey, the Vande Bharat Express is projected to significantly truncate travel time to approximately 7 hours. A similar upgrade is anticipated for the Nagpur Vande Bharat Express, potentially shaving off nearly two hours from the travel duration, bringing it down to an estimated 7 hours.
