Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor features in the upcoming Sandeep Reddy Vanga film, ‘Animal’. The makers released the first full trailer of ‘Animal’ on Thursday, November 23. The promo video offers an exciting glimpse into the film and what we can expect from it.
ANIMAL TRAILER IS OUT!
By the looks of the released footage, ‘Animal’ seems to be largely centered on a father-son relationship, played by Anil and Ranbir Kapoor, respectively. Ranbir looks raw and intense in the released promos we have seen so far.
In the trailer, Ranbir displays a protective and an almost obsessive side to a son’s love for his father. Ranbir’s character Arjun Singh is seen threatening everybody who comes in the way of his love for his father.
Rashmika Mandanna also features in the ‘Animal’ trailer as Ranbir’s love interest. Bobby Deol is apparently playing the primary antagonist in the film, who makes a stylish yet menacing appearance in the trailer. So far, so good.
ABOUT RANBIR’S WORK FRONT
This is Ranbir Kapoor’s second film of the year after the blockbuster with Shraddha Kapoor, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. Ranbir will also be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan alongside Sai Pallavi, as well as in the sequel of Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra.
Earlier, Ranbir had spoken about the character he is playing in ‘Animal’ in a Zoom chat with fans and said that it is one of the darkest characters he has portrayed onscreen, “Working with Sandeep has been such an enriching experience for me as an actor because he is so original. There is nothing referenced in his films. Everything I was doing in ‘Animal’ as that character was so new. This is the darkest film I have done, because I am not playing any psycho killer in it. It is just the character, his mind and the way he operates. His psyche is very dark.”
